Gnome de Plume

The Savoy Gastronomes world renowned newsletter, Gnome de Plume has been published annually and sent to members by post.

The Members' Dinner was held at The Cavalry & Guards Club on Friday 4th November 2011.

The menu was Trio of Seafood: Smoked Salmon with Chive Creme Fraiche, Potted Shrimps with Chilli Oil, Smoked Trout set in Tomato Consomme en Gelee. Pressed Shoulder of Lamb with Sweetbreads, Creamed Broad Beans, Daupinoise Potatoes. Brioche and Butter Pudding with Chocolate. Cheese Souffle with mustard Sauce. Coffee.

The wines were Chapagne Besserat de Bellefon, Macon Vchizy, Domain Talmard 2009. Chateau Tour St Bonnet, Cru Bourgeois, Medoc 2003. Fonseca, LBV 2003
